Eastern goes virtual after Thanksgiving break

By Ali Leding, Staff Writer

As we all know the pandemic has been ongoing for almost a year now. Covid-19 has negatively affected everyone in some way. But as we have gotten used to the new rules and regulations things are starting to get a little more bearable. After stores, work places, and schools were shut down for months, they were finally opened back up to the public under certain laws.

Eastern has been one of the very lucky schools to have stayed open this semester. But Thanksgiving break is coming up next week and the students will all be leaving to go home. To keep COVID-19 numbers down, the students will not be returning until January, after all holidays have passed. While students won’t physically be returning to class they will be doing the remaining two weeks of final classes online.

Classes will resume to their normal face to face/zoom classes on Jan. 11. If you need to enroll for the Spring semester call your advisor.
